P365 - DAY314: Mesmerizing Chaukhamba


Chaukhamba is a mountain massif in the Gangotri Group of the Garhwal Himalaya. It is located in the state of Uttarakhand, west of the Hindu holy town of Badrinath.



As the name suggest, Chaukhamba has four summits, along a northeast-southwest trending ridge, and ranging in elevation from 7,138 to 6,854 meters. summit is Chaukhamba-I which is located at the northeast end. This photo was clicked from Deoria Taal in Rudraprayag district.
