This photo is from our national capital, New Delhi. I clicked this while I was on my way to Red Fort. I don't know the name of this monument but it caught my attention while I was on the go. Nonetheless, its definitely from Mougle era.

This is a very isolated and quite place near queen of hills, Mussoorie. Approximately 8 kilometers from Mussoorie, one can reach here by a kilometer long trek from the Mussoorie-Dehradun road. I visited this place long ago and quite liked it. However, the approach road to the waterfall was not built completely at that time but nonetheless, I enjoyed the beauty of this place very much.

Dedicated to goddess Durga, this beautiful temple is situated in Tehri District of Uttarakhand at a distance of around 40 kilometers from Mussoorie. I have already covered thus in my previous posts but the place is so peaceful and beautiful that I can't resist the charm to share more photos of this place.

Sometimes the road is beautiful and sometimes the destination. But in this particular ride everything was picture perfect. We travelled through beautiful highways, green countryside and snow clad mountains and visited to beautiful cities. Well this is a glimpse of that.

Life full of adventure, that's all we want. We do so many things in search of ultimate thrill. Just like this guide who was doing a routine check up of his zipline before tourists uses the same. I captured this in the Sattal Lake in Nainital district of Uttarakhand.

I see my path, but I don't know where it leads. Not knowing where I'm going is what inspires me to travel it...If the path is beautiful, let us not ask where it leads. These are some nice lines about path. But this path nonthless is known and beautiful at the same time. I clicked it randomly during my last training to SBIRB Hyderabad.

The beautiful temple was already covered in my previous posts. However, today being a special day, I decided to mark the day by remembering Maa Durga through this post.

It is the seat of the Supreme Court of Cassation and the Judicial Public Library, is located in the Prati district of Rome. It was constructed on the banks of river Tiber between the year 1888-1911. The huge building is popularly called in Italian the Palazzaccio (the bad Palace).

This photo belongs to the beautiful pine forest near Swargashram Binsar Mahadev in Almora district of Uttarakhand. The trees are planted in a very symmetrical manner which makes it more appealing to the eyes.

This picture is of a village near Lohaghat in Champawat district of Uttarakhand. I travelled across this area many a times and captured this evening hue when I was returning home one day. I tried to capture the houses, the fields, the water stream...every thing in a single frame.

These Ducks were native of Lake Bhimtal. Every morning they swim from one corner to another corner of lake in a very disciplined manner and have their meal.

Situated just 5 kilometers from Ranikhet, the Golf Course is one of the highest golf courses in Asia. Popularly known as Golf ground by locals, it is a 9-hole course making it one of the prime attractions of Ranikhet for tourists. The course is surrounded by lush green oak and pine forests and changes its color from green to brown to white as per the season .Every visitor admires this amazing ground located en-route on the Almora-Ranikhet road.

This photo is taken near Ranikhet, the Queen's meadow. It was a sunny morning when I took this picture and it was was truly a path to heaven. The shade of pine trees added more beauty to the picture.

Sit uated at an altitude of approximately 2400 meters above sea level, this pristine temple is located 20 kilometers from Ranikhet. Amidst the thick deodar forest, the temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. The place is very calm and beautiful and every year on the occassion of Maha Shiv Ratri, a grand fest is held here. The temple was originally built in 10th century and later on it was further renovated.

This is a very old pictures of which I clicked in Delhi. The particular evening was very different as there was not many clouds in the sky but it was not crystal clear as well. The evening Sun was looking very beautiful and I couldn't resist to click it.

It's monsoon time and it's time for some beautiful scenery. This picture of majestic Doon valley was captured during pre-monsoon of 2013 from Mussoorie. The scene was truly mesmerising.

These two photos were taken at random in the temple. First one is from our local temple at Khetikhan, Uttarakhand while second photo is from famous Jageshwar Temple of Almora.

Rose is not just a flower, it is symbol of love and passion. A plant of rose in the garden is enough to make is beautiful. The charm of a rose is something different something which can't be expressed in words.

मैं तो चला, ज़िधर चले रस्ता...This beautiful road is a section between Jageshwar to Almora in Uttarakhand State of India. I had been there only once but the beauty of that trail made a very lasting impact on me.

The famous buddha temple of Clamentown, Uttarakhand is a place for all those who seek peace. Apart from the scerene surroundings, the large welcoming buddha statue is the main attraction here. The place is truly amazing and beautiful.

The beautiful tree of Jacaranda becomes more beautiful during the summers when it is filled with blooming blue flowers. I have the opportunity to capture a few such trees in Bhimtal lakeside and it was truly a delight to watch.

These two photo were of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. One was taken during snowfall when everything was covered with snow including the otherwise green mountains. While the second is a view of permanent snow clad Himalaya. It's white everywhere.

I have earlier posted the pictures of Dol Aashram here. But now, I am transferred to this place. It is a very scerene place where one can meditate amidst the beautiful and calm environment. This photo was taken enroute Lamgara, Almora...my new place of posting.

If I could choose where I would live, I would live by the mountains...such is the charm of these spectacular landscape. The mountains are deep, they are dark, they are high but still there is something in them which attracts us above all...these two pictures were taken from Rudraprayag district, Uttarakhand. Enjoy the beauty of Nature.

These pictures were taken by me way back in 2011. The place is Bhimtal in the Lake district of Uttarakhand. Its the largest Lake of the area and amidst the lake, there is a beautiful small island. It offers a very picturesque view and currently there is an aquarium in that island which is open for the public.

Chaukhamba is a mountain massif in the Gangotri Group of the Garhwal Himalaya. It is located in the state of Uttarakhand, west of the Hindu holy town of Badrinath. As the name suggest, Chaukhamba has four summits, along a northeast-southwest trending ridge, and ranging in elevation from 7,138 to 6,854 meters. summit is Chaukhamba-I which is located at the northeast end. This photo was clicked from Deoria Taal in Rudraprayag district.

Imagine a cool morning far away from the hustle bustle of city and you open you eyes before majestic Himalayas. Such is the charm of Chopta which is a trekkers heaven in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. This pictures are taken at the Chopta trekking camps during my last trekking expedition to Chandrashila.

This beautiful pathway is of Clamentown's Buddha Temple in Dehradun. Row of flowers in both the sides of this pathway makes it charming and vibrant

State Bank Institute of Rural Banking (SBIRB), formally known as State Bank Institute of Rural Development (SBIRD) is an apex training institute of State Bank of India, country's largest lender. Established in the year in Ligampally, Hyderabad with a mission to offer best learning facality for officials of State Bank of India and its associates.  I have been at this Institute twice courtesy my job (infact I am here right now) but its been always more than just a training institute for me. Its 17 acres of pure greenery and bio diversity. You can find ornamental, medicinal and floral plants, fruit bearing and evergreen trees, micro irrigation, rabbits, duck here.  There is lot more to do here in the campus apart from routine learning be it jogging in the track or outdoor games or just sit and relax in the park and enjoy the surroundings. It all makes learning a very refreshing and enjoyable experience.
