P365 - DAY223: Palatine Hill... Remains of ancient Rome

The Palatine Hill is the centremost of the Seven Hills of Rome and is one of the most ancient parts of the city. It is believed that Rome has its origins on the Palatine. It stands 40 metres above the Roman Forum. According to Roman mythology, it was the location of the cave where Romulus and Remus (founders of Rome) were found by the she-wolf that kept them alive.
