P365 - DAY135: Siddh Mandir, Brahmdev, Nepal

Today, I am sharing the pictures of famous Siddh Mandir of Brahmdev, Nepal. It is situated in the adjoining border area of India and Nepal and is Just a few kilometres from Indian city, Tanakpur. Geographically iris situated just opposite to Mata Poornagiri Temple on the other side of river Sharda.

A famous legend behind this Mandir is that...A devotee of Mata Poornagiri once visited the Holy Shrine of Poornagiri at odd hours which the deity didn't liked and threw him to the other side of river Sharda at this place. But as a result of his devotion, the deity gave him the boon that he will also be visited and worshiped there at Brahmdev. So, it is believed that one must visit the Brahmdev Siddh Mandir after visiting Poornagiri in order to get the complete blessings.
