P365 - DAY204: Lambgaon, Tehri Garhwal


Lambgaon is a small town of Tehri Garhwal district in Uttarakhand. It is located approximately 100 kilometers from the district headquarters. The place was once a very important halt en route the Chaar-Dhaam pilgrimage but it was adversely effected after construction of Tehri Dam.



Approach road to Lambgaon are very narrow and rough but the place got natural beauty. It is surrounded by pine forest and steep hills.

  1. The ehri Dam cottages offer a feeling of privacy and tranquillity because they are tucked away among beautiful vegetation. It seemed to be a respite from the hectic pace of daily existence.
