P365-Day 82: Wah Taj

Taj Mahal...the architectural marvel, one of the seven wonders of the modern world, landmark of Agra was built by Mughal King Shahjahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. It is situated in Agra, Uttar Pradesh on the banks of river Yamuna and is one of the most iconic, symbolic and tourist Hotspot in India.




The construction took approximately 20 years to complete and it is built by white marble with lots of engraving by gold and gem stones. The last three photos were clicked from Red Fort Agra, which offers a splendid view of river Yamuna and the Taj.
