P365-Day 66: Gray Langur and Rhesus Macaque.

Rhesus macaque or commonly known as "monkey" are the commonest monkeys in India.  They can adapt to almost any environment. They often live around temples and are regarded as sacred. They generally lives in a large group of 20-25.
While the grey langur or just known as "langur" are also a type of primitive Monkey having a long tail and larger body with black color and grey hair. They are also found in various parts of India and lives in a small group of 4-6.

This Macaque caught my attention while my visit to Shitla Mata Temple in Haldwani while I captured this calm but imposing Langur at Dhanachuli forest.
