P365-Day34: Navratri Special...Day 9 Barahi Devi (बाराही देवी), Devidhura-Champawat, Uttarakhand

On the ninth day of auspicious Navratri celebration, I bring you today the famous "Barahi Temple" of Devidhura. The temple is approx 100 kilometres from Kathgodam railway station and situated amidst lush green forest of oak and deodaar.

The temple is famous for its stone pelting fest which is held every year during Raksha Bandhan.

These pictures were taken moments ago on my way back to my hometown. I hope and believe that you have enjoyed this Navratri special. Jai Mata Di
